B.Graindorge, I.Vautrin and S.Cordoléani sign the new Moustache creations at Maison & Objet
The first article dedicated to the Maison & Objet trade show and a big favourite of ours, the latest creations edited by Moustache including Benjamin Graindorge’s remarkable ceramic sculpture-lamp, The Cave. We find the entire dreamlike world of the French designer in this piece that offers a contemporary and very personal reading of the myth of Plato’s cave.
Also to be discovered among the editor’s new creation, the Baobab coffee table by Ionna Vautrin, made of basswood and lacquered beech. Particularly functional with its 2 turning plates, it was also proposed in a console version made in Corian® with mirrors; the fruit of a collaboration between Moustache and Corian® in the framework of the ‘Favoris by Moustache’ collection.
Finally, it was difficult to miss Plan, the poetic series of vases by Sébastien Cordoléani, now available in a more accessible ceramic version, in continuity of the slate and marble models, which we previously presented on the occasion of the Designer’s Days call for projects.
