Cargo – Adjustable coffee table by Frédéric Saulou – Paris Design Week

It’s a year of nice recognition for young designer Frédéric Saulou. After Milan, his Cargo coffee table was on display again last week at the « Monde Commun » exhibition, organised by the VIA during the Paris Design Week.

Composed of two openwork modules fitted together, which rotate and slide freely on one another thanks to an ingenious assembly system without nails or screws, Cargo offers various fittings, evolves with needs and multiplies possible scenarios.

Material wise, the thermo-lacquered aluminium and felt structure lies on a base made of solid oak and Teflon. A friendly and functional coffee table, like that designed in another style by Alain Gilles for Bonaldo…
