First edition of Design Days Dubai – 18 > 21 March 2012

The first event in the region dedicated to limited edition design, Design Days Dubai will take place in one of the leading cities of the United Arab Emirates from 18 to 21 March.

The program includes lectures (‘Investing in design’ by Rabih Hage, future trends with Li Edelkoort…), workshops with Korean designer Kwangho Lee, exhibitions of emerging local designers or even face-to-face sessions between students and experienced designers…

But Design Days Dubai, is also and above all a sharp selection of 22 international galleries displaying the finest pieces of their collection and their latest limited edition series.

Alongside the Dutchmen from Priveekollektie, which will present creations by Dominic Harris, the Italians from Secondome or La Galerie Nationale (which will open a showroom in Dubai in 2012), we will notably find Parisian gallery BSL (for pieces by Charles Kalpakian, Djim Berger and Adrien De Melo) or the Franziska Kessler Gallery from Zurich, Switzerland.

Presented for the first time outside their borders, Brazilian gallery +Coletivo Amor de Madre (Sao Paulo) and Korean gallery _Croft (Seoul) will certainly count among the hightlights of this first edition, of which Yookô is a partner.
