Furniture and lamp collection Marginal Notes 2012 by Note Design Studio

Second session for Note Design Studio’s Marginal Note concept. Just like last year, the Swedish designers collective, which won us over at the end of the year with the Boet stool, has combed through the past year’s notebook in order to unearth the ideas that really deserved to take shape and had not yet been exploited.

Centred on the common theme of scientific exploration (and in particular the base camp) that emerged, the Note Design team rolled out a collection of furniture pieces and lamps (prototypes) inspired by elements and materials from that world…

Sieve, cage, net… are here diverted into poufs, storage units or lamps.

Created in collaboration with Lerch Träinredningar, the Marginal Notes collection was presented at the Lindelöfs showroom for the 2012 edition of the Stockholm Design Week, which has just ended.
