Furoshiki table lamp by Entreautre
Inspired by furoshiki, the Japanese art of cloth folding, the eponymous lamp created and self-edited by Entreautre opts for minimalism.
With this new creation, and just like the excellent Tools coffee table presented recently, the designers collective continues its research work on material-saving design. Only two pieces make up the structure: a lime tree base and a cleverly folded and shaped polypropylene sheet, revealing an attractive graphic set once the lamp is lit. Meanwhile, the cordon that goes through the base ensures these two parts are linked together.
Made in France, the Furoshiki lamp is assembled in a specialised service for the employment of disabled people and is due for sale in stores and on the web very shortly.
