Tipi standard lamp and Cache Cache II shelf in the 2012 WA.DE.BE. collection
After last year’s tremendous craze for the Granny chair, WA.DE.BE. unveils its brand new collection including two particularly inspired pieces, for which the French editor’s artisan know-how is very apparent.
Tipi first of all, a nomadic floor lamp inspired by modern architecture, which is magically held in balance thanks to a reinforced concrete counterweight. A piece that flirts with the object of art, and which is disassembled in a flash so you can move it wherever you want.
Cache-Cache II next, a functional and evolutionary declension of the Cache-Cache library, where the storage modules can be combined endlessly in order to accommodate all volumes. Carried out by a metal specialist in France, the shelf’s wooden back can be customised with an almost tailor-made casing (solid wood, leather, colour…)
