Trash Me lamp – Design by Victor Vetterlein for &Tradition
Today paper pulp seems to be the object of an increasing interest in the field of materials… We notably remember the much-touted DuraPulp developed by Södra and used for the W101 lamp edited by Wästberg, or Parupu, the kids’ chair by the Claesson Koivisto Rune trio…
Victor Vetterlein’s lamp Trash Me for &Tradition positions itself as a critic of our contemporary society and in particular the ephemeral side of things. It is simply made of paper pulp that was left to dry after being laid on a mould.
Entirely recyclable once it has reached end of life, the shell can be replaced and the different parts easily disassembled to be reused or recycled in order to create a new piece.
